Welcome to the Adelaide University Swing Dancing Club
The Adelaide University Swing Dancing Club (AUSDC) is a student-run club at the University of Adelaide. We aim to promote, teach and have a blast swing dancing.
We love to dance and are passionate about making the fun of swing dancing available to everyone. You do not have to be a student at university to join our classes or events!

What is Swing Dancing?
Swing is a fast paced, dynamic dance that originated in the United States in the 1920s to 1950s.
It is commonly danced to Swinging-Jazz music, and has many variants including Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston, Balboa & more. Although commonly danced as a partner-dance, swing also comprises solo jazz dancing & group routines.
